Jamiekan Jerk Chicken Cooking

Traditional Jamaican Jerk Chicken is one of our easiest dishes to make and there is basically no chance of making mistakes.

Ingredients: 2 tablespoons Jamaican Jerk Seasoning, 500g chicken leg, 1 large onion, 1 peg garlic, 1/2 tsp black pepper, 1 stem of thyme, 1 lemon, and 1/4 teaspoon whole pimento or allspice

Ron di buot: wash chicken with lemon juice to get rid of the raw smell, rub Jerk Seasoning onto chicken thoroughly, add and thoroughly  mix all other ingredients and marinate for at least 3 hours.

Remove all excess ingredients and Grill on bothe sides for 15 minutes over an open fire or 25 minutes in an oven at 380 degrees until golden brown. If you use a frying pan, remove all excess ingredients and brown chicken on both sides in 1 tablespoon of vegetable or coconut oil on high flames for about 5 minutes. Add 1 tablespoon of water, cover pan then turn down stove to low flame.

Tip for using a frying pan; whenever the sound of the oil has changed to a higher pitch - it means water has evaporated, so add another tablespoon of water. Make sure you repeat this process when necessary - at 5 to 7 minutes intervals until chicken is cooked on the inside.

And please, contact us to let us know the result. Enjoy!
