Jamaican Reggae music was born out of the need to create a unique identity for Jamaican music. It started with Ska, moved on to Rock Steady and then on to the powerhouse we all now recognise as Reggae.
Jamaica, being in such close proximity to America, we had a lot of "popular" music to enjoy but that was not nearly enough for Jamaican singers and musicians so we went to the drawing board and erected another pillar of music in the 20th century - Reggae.
Reggae is now recognised in almost all the 198 corners of the earth for its originality and unique flavour that never cease to capture the hearts of those who listen.
Our founder - Alfonso Ferdinand was born less than twenty years after Reggae was incepted and grew up during the years when it was just on the rise. Subsequently, becoming a Reggae musician thus growing up with Reggae.
